The summer holidays are nearly upon us! We hope you’ve got a nice break planned, but if you need access to books and computing facilities during the holidays, remember that the LCC is open over most of the break.
The following opening hours are valid for Monday the 1st of July to Friday the 28th of September 2013:
- Monday to Friday : 9am – 5m
Please note that the Library closes between 12 noon and 1pm for lunch. Library users will need to leave the LCC rooms while the Library is closed.
The Library does not open on Saturdays over the Summer. The last Saturday of the Spring term is the 29th of June. We’re also closed on the August Bank Holiday Monday (Monday 26th of August).
Standard Term Time opening hours resume on Monday the 30th of September.
All standard services are available over the summer, though laptops will be unavailable briefly from the start of the week beginning the 8th of July (see our previous story about our laptop recall here). You can continue to renew your library loans over the summer online, by text, by phone or in person. If you ring the LCC outside of opening hours please leave a message with your name, your UCO Student number and a contact telephone number and we’ll get back to you when we reopen.
